We design and print full colour flyers, brochures, posters, postcards, business cards and stationery.
The pricing guide below covers the majority of your everyday printing needs, however, can we design and print anything you require, so if you don't see what you are looking for, please ask us how we can help.
All prices include layout fees, GST and delivery to most destinations in Australia. A small fee may apply for delivery of "oversize" items or delivery to "out of the way" locations. Just provide us with your text and pictures and we will layout and prepare finished pre-press artwork free of charge. We will make minor amendments to the layout free of charge. If you require full design services, the rate is $65 per hour.

Design Fees
All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of layout fees, ie we will layout your logo, photos and text into an attractive and appealing layout for printing. If you require a full design service, ie. photo manipulation and special effects, design fees will apply.
Logo Design Whether you are looking to upgrade your image, or starting a new business, we can design a logo that projects a professional image to your clients.
We have a very affordable and easy process .....
- Contact us and we will take a brief from you.
- We will layout an initial design and email to you for your comments.
- We will make minor amendments if required and email to you for final approval.
- Upon approval we will email you the press-ready finished artwork of your logo.
A total of 3 design amendments are included in the logo design quotation.
Price for logo design from as little as $250.
We can also design letterheads and other business stationery and/or forms and provide to you in electronic format (Word or Excel) for you to use on your computer.
All rights to your logo design are assigned to you, the customer. We retain no design rights.
Other Design
Whatever you are looking for, we can help. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. Our rates are $55.00 per hour, however, we are happy to quote a fixed price for any of your design requirements.
Web Design
We have award winning web design guru's as part of our team. We can build any site, from a basic functional site to one with all of the bells and whistles. We will quote you a FIXED price so you know EXACTLY how much the job will cost. We DO NOT hide extras in the small print.
Print Only
For those of you in the trade, or people with their own press-ready artwork, we have exceptionally competitive print-only prices. Please contact us for a quotation.
The easiest and fastest way to send us your files is through PDF technology. Not only are the files complete (with no missing fonts or links) but they hold true colour management, trapping and open pre-press information. The files are so small in size that it is a breeze to send them via email without any loss of quality or data.
Design Merchants only accept completed, electronic artwork, which must be press ready. We ask our clients to adhere to the following specifications. All artwork not to our specifications will be referred back for correction.
Please convert your text to paths, curves or outlines.
TIFF files using LZW compression are recomended for the best quality reproduction, however, high quality JPEG images are acceptable.
All images must be saved in CYMK at 300dpi (120dpcm).
Make sure all colours are nominated correctly as PMS or CYMK and are relevant to the job you are submitting.
Ensure a 2mm bleed where required.
We recommend all type be kept within a 2mm border of edge.
Reverse type to be a minimum of 7pt.
We prefer separate PDF files for each page.
Artwork for printed envelopes must adhere to design guidelines as established by Australia Post.
Design Merchants do accept responsibility for the correctness of content, typographical errors or layout effectiveness in supplied artwork.
